Thankfully, YOU are rewriting that narrative every day at PowerPlay. This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating how far you as an incredible woman have come in leading the charge not just for ourselves but for the younger generation of sisters, daughters, cousins and nieces in our lives.
Remember when “fitness” was vibrating belts and neon leg warmers? Jessica Rihal, a plus-size yoga instructor, reminds us that “dismissing the things women say they love as inconsequential allows our culture to stealthily ensure women remain subordinate to men.” We’re here to say NO to that.

We see perimenopausal women showing up for HIIT and boxing, embracing their power and proving that age is just a number. They’re reminding us that strength and vitality are lifelong pursuits.
And we see pre/postnatal mothers continually choosing themselves when they’re carrying their baby and even afterwards. They’re redefining what it means to be a strong mother, carrying both a child and their own strength through every set.
