Why should I enroll my child the Creative Play program at PowerPlaySF?

From birth to age 5, a child’s brain develops more, and more rapidly, than at any other time in life. Music

Sing, dance, clap, play! Music helps to ignite virtually all areas of child development, including language, emotional and social growth, and movement. Our passionate teachers have developed carefully curated programming that uses music, dance, and instrument play to connect the body with the mind. Children will learn the fundamentals of music, while also developing a love and appreciation for how wonderful music can make us feel. Feel the rhythm. 

Art

Art is the world’s oldest and most universal language, and communicates more than words ever could. Our teachers create relevant programming inspired by current events – like an eclipse, seasonal foods, or the weather – and transform PowerPlay into a space that invites imagination and exploration. Children are exposed to major art theories, while they also develop their creativity, learn that mistakes can be beautiful, and express themselves through the artistic process. Movement

PowerPlay is committed to promoting whole body wellness, and that means helping even our littlest members develop a love of movement. We use props, drama, and music to inspire kiddos to use their bodies and brains in new ways. Children will develop important skills like gross-motor coordination, body awareness, curiosity, risk-taking, socialization, and creating connections between the mind and body. Watch your child grow as they explore in our safe, stimulating, and playful environment. Get moving.

How do I enroll my child in a class?

Please email Hello@powerplaySF.com to see if there is availability in our classes. Please specify your child’s age and the classes you’re interested in attending.

Can I bring more than one sibling to Powerplay Classes?

Siblings of a paid member, receive complimentary access if they are 6 months and younger. If sibling is older than 6 months he or she receives 20% discount off membership fees.

How do I arrange a birthday party for my child and what's included?

Email Hello@powerplaysf.com for party packages, pricing and scheduling. You do not need to be a PowerplaySF member to schedule a birthday party.

How do I purchase a PowerplaySF gift certificate?

To share the gift of music, art, movement and play, please email Hello@PowerplaySF.com to create a custom package for that special little person!

How do I schedule a makeup class?

Makeup classes can be scheduled by emailing Hello@powerplaysf.com. You can make up classes as long as  there’s availability and they fall within your 4 week billing cycle.

How do I cancel a class?

Please Login to your account and directly cancel your child from the class.

Do I have to pay a membership fee?

PowerplaySF members pay a one-time fee yearly membership fee of $99 per family.

How do I cancel my membership and receive a refund?

Class fees are billed automatically every 4 consecutive weeks. In order to cancel classes, Powerplaysf must be notified at least 15 days before your next billing date. There are no refunds for cancellation requests submitted outside of this timeframe.

To cancel Simply email Hello@powerplaysf.com Please note refunds are not offered after the first class of your current billing cycle.  If request for refund is received prior to your child taking his or her first class it is subject to a $39 processing fee.
